Ethics channel
This Ethics Channel is the preferred channel of Edison Next Spain S.L.U. and its subsidiaries, Edison Next Spain, established to receive communications regarding potential breaches of the Code of Ethics, as well as possible violations of regulations applicable to our activity, as detailed in the Internal Reporting System Policy (SII), attached in the next tab. This channel is not intended for complaints, claims, or urgent matters.
Communications made through this Channel will always remain confidential and may also be anonymous if the whistleblower so chooses. The communications will be managed in accordance with the terms and principles described in the SII Policy and in line with the SII Management Procedure of Edison Next Spain, ensuring, among others, the principles of respect, protection of individuals, and prohibition of retaliation against those who report irregularities in good faith.
The Ethics Channel is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
What can you do through our Ethics Channel?
- Report irregularities that fall within the scope of Edison Next Spain's SII Policy.
- Do it anonymously, if desired.
- Record a voice message to report the irregularity.
- Monitor the progress of your report.
Tracking your reports may be important for several reasons:
- You want to check the status of your report to see if action is being taken.
- You want to provide additional information related to your report.
- System administrators have requested more information to help resolve the issue or take appropriate action.
What happens after a report is made?
The SII Officer, the Ethics and Compliance Committee, will acknowledge receipt of the report within 7 calendar days following its receipt. The maximum timeframe to complete the investigation is 3 months, except in more complex cases, which may take up to 6 months. After analyzing the information provided, the Committee may:
- Admit the report and open an investigation file.
- Admit the report and close the investigation when the content is irrelevant, lacks credibility, or is insufficient to proceed.
- Reject the report due to lack of violation, thus concluding the analysis of the reported facts.
