Rivas Vaciamadrid – Municipal photovoltaic project
Rivas Vaciamadrid has entrusted Edison NEXT with a municipal self consumption project aimed at boosting local renewable energy production.
The initiative includes installing photovoltaic systems across five public buildings, with capacities ranging from 20 to 103 kWp, enabling clean electricity generation and reducing dependence on the grid.
The project also incorporates energy storage to maximise self consumption and optimise surplus use. With an investment of €354,549, the initiative strengthens the city’s commitment to sustainability, delivering measurable benefits such as emission reduction, lower municipal energy costs and increased system resilience.
